What are worship pads?

Worship pads (also called ambient pads or drone pads) are long, soft sustained sounds played in the key of the song. They fill the space between the band and the congregation, keep the room connected between songs and give the worship leader a musical bed to pray, read or speak over.

How to use ambient pads live

Pick the pad that matches the key of the song and let it sound underneath the band, or on its own during intros, prayer and transitions. When the key changes, switch pads smoothly instead of stopping. Take it on stage with the WPE LIVE app.

Compatibility

Every pack includes one pad per key. Play them in the browser player, in WPE LIVE on iPhone and iPad, or load the audio files into your DAW, MainStage, a sampler or a hardware drum pad. Looking for drums and one shots instead? Browse our worship samples.
